Who would have imagined when Lyn started her nursing career in 1967, that 50 years later she would be standing up in Buckingham Palace receiving an MBE for the amazing work of Butterfly Children’s Hospices in China.

We are delighted to be able to share some more photos of Lyn receiving her MBE, with Alan and her family by her side.

We are so proud of Lyn’s achievement, of all the little lives that have been touched by the life changing work being done in China.

It is gratifying to know Lynn being awarded the MBE. Glad to see Lynn and Alan still so young looking. Sincerely hope more people know what they are doing and are moved to make donations. Though miracles don’t always happen, those children in their last miles of life would feel the warmth from Butterfly Hospice.
