18 NovBeautiful Becky

Last week we welcomed another beautiful little girl, Becky into our care.

Becky is 4 years old and has a complicated medical history. Her little face is filled with confusion, fear and worry. Behind her beautiful eyes is a story; a story filled with heartache and heartbreak. Her whole world has been turned upside down recently and now her life is filled with change again. She cries herself to sleep at night and we wish we could click our fingers and take away her pain.

Although the Butterfly Home is a safe and loving place for our children, Becky does not know this yet. At the moment all she sees are unfamiliar faces and different surroundings. Nothing is ‘normal’ for her. Please keep her in your thoughts as we get to know her more and help her to feel loved and secure.

As she settles in, we will arrange further medical investigations for her, with her caring ayis by her side. Until then, her ayis will work hard at building trust, making her feel safe and comfortable.

We are grateful to the ongoing support we receive from our generous donors who allow us to continue to say ‘yes’ to each and every one of our Butterflies.

From Becky and all of our other Butterflies, we just want to say a BIG thank you.

Butterfly Children’s Hospices wouldn’t be able to do the work it does without your support. Please consider donating to help this invaluable cause to continue changing lives.

Becky is such ch a lovely little girl. I do so hope she will soon settle in and benefit from the love and care shown to her by everyone around her., especially her chosen Ayis. It must be so difficult for you all to control your emotions Katy. I find myself in tears just reading about each little one who joins you. I just wish I was in a better position to help you financially. So Sorry, I am an elderly disabled Pensioner.
    Q 🙏🏼 Bless you all 💞xxxxx💞
