8 MarCelebrating Women on International Women’s Day!

Today, on International Women’s Day we celebrate the amazing team of women at Butterfly Children’s Hospices.

From our wonderful CEO, to our amazing ayis, caring nurses, kind office staff, talented administration staff and our vibrant volunteers!
Today we celebrate our incredible ayis and nurses who are continuing to work around the clock to ensure the Butterflies receive the care they need during this ongoing, difficult time. They have put their own lives on hold, some have not seen their families for quite some time, all to ensure the Butterflies are happy, loved and well cared for. They are wonderful women!

Today, we also celebrate every woman who has contributed and supported the work that we do. You are all incredible women! One of our long term supporters, Quilts for Orphans’ in Melbourne have sent us a number of parcels filled with beautiful quilts over the years.

One of their members, have recently sent a number of handmade pocket prayer squares that she has handmade and prayed over. They include a message to remind our ayis to stay strong, that they are loved and cared for by so many people.

Thank you to our wonderful supporters out there – we could not do this without you all! The team really appreciate the words of wisdom and courage, and the acts of kindness at this time.

We celebrate these wonderful ladies here in the U.S.A. We are so grateful for their love, passion for helping and caring for these little ones. Thank you for being such a gift in each child’s life!
