27 AprCourageous Caleb

Our little miracles are really worth celebrating! As we look back over the last ten years, we want to continue sharing some of their amazing stories.

When Caleb first arrived, he was extremely sick and needed life-saving surgery. We knew from that very first day that he was a fighter.

We watched him go from strength to strength and rejoiced when he joined his forever  family.

We recently received a wonderful update from Caleb’s mama and he continues to have that fighting spirit:

“Caleb has developed so much, even since the year anniversary of being our son. Caleb is a joy…stubborn, but a wonderful joy in our lives.

I have loved seeing how each other sibling has attached to him and his relationship with them.

He LOVES Blu our dog and wants him sleeping right outside his bedroom door. He LOVES jumping on the trampoline, and he LOVES his Babu (grandfather). He is so very smart and has a memory like a tack! We are so thankful to have him in our lives.

Thank you so much to the ladies who loved, cared for, nursed him back to health, protected him and rescued him. I can’t say enough what a blessing they each were in his little life. He is a happy boy, he is snuggly and healthy and strong. So much of that is because of the first 2 years of his life being so well cared for. THANK YOU!”

Thank you Caleb’s mama for sending this incredible update. We cannot wait to see what his future holds!

I love the title: Courageous Caleb! That he is! Thank you for sharing this and I hope that someone who donated money for his surgery almost 4 years ago, sees this and realizes the impact he or she had in his life. Thank you to all those who gave him life!
