6 SepGetting to know our nurses – Part two.

We are blessed with a wonderful team of nurses in the Butterfly Home. We currently have a strong team of five Chinese nurses, led by Molin. Previously we introduced three of these nurses: Wendy, Jane and Lily. If you missed this blog post you can catch up here. Today, we are going to introduce our other two new nurses.

Hebe

“I’m Hebe, a nurse and a mother in my life. I came to the Butterfly Home last December and love my new job very much. I am happy to spend time with the children. The Butterfly Home is a special place that I can learn the concept of children’s palliative nursing care. I wish I can encourage the children along their journey in the home and watch them grow and develop.” The children all adore Hebe and her natural, motherly instincts are apparent in the loving care she delivers. Linton particularly loves story time with her. We are grateful to have her in our home.

Jasmine

“I have two years clinical experience before coming to the Butterfly Home and came to work with the Butterflies in November 2018 because I want to share my skills and give love to those children who need it. I am very lucky to join the loving Butterfly family, and I am very happy to take care of these kids. Dr Trudeau once said that ‘To Cure sometimes, To Relieve often, To Comfort always’. Because of this faith, I will always keep my enthusiasm in working with the little butterflies and never give up.”

We are thrilled to have such a wonderful, caring, competent team of nurses who love the children dearly. Without them, we could not provide the specialised care that our children need.
