24 MarJacky’s Journey

Since our first post about Jacky (if you missed it you can catch up here), he has had a challenging few weeks. His complex condition deteriorated quicker than we imagined. Our team were monitoring him closely and worked with the doctors about the best plan of care.

Unfortunately, he needed transfer to the local paediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and required intubation as his condition continued to deteriorate.

He is currently stable but remains in PICU. His condition is very complex. We are in discussions with the medical team about the best way forward for him.

Please continue to keep him in your thoughts as we walk beside him on his journey.

(The photographs from this blog were taken before his hospital admission).
