3 MayLatest news from our home (Part 2).
Our days are busy and filled with lots of activities, but we would not have it any other way. In case you missed part one of our news, read all about it here.
Our children enjoyed an Easter egg hunt – ‘Butterfly’ style using sensory balls, making it enjoyable and interactive for all of our children. There was laughter and happiness radiating from the playground throughout the day.
We recently admitted a gorgeous 12 year old boy, named Yonas (meaning dove). He is extremely fragile and has a complicated medical history. However, our Ayis do not see these scary diagnoses but just see him for the little boy his is, someone who is completely afraid and who needs love and affection. We hope we will have the privilege to watch him spread his wings and flourish in our care. The next few weeks will be hard, trying to manage his symptoms and put a plan of care in place whilst making him feel safe and treasured. Please keep him in your thoughts and we will share his progress over the next few weeks.
Tom is working hard at standing and walking these days, completing daily exercises and therapy sessions. We know it will not be long until he is running around chasing John and Elora.
John still waits for his forever family to find him. We know he would be the perfect addition to a family. Contact Esther if you think John could be your son.
Elora has a family working fast to bring her home and we know this little girl is going to be the perfect addition to their family. She is a ray of sunshine in our home and we cannot believe she will soon have a forever home. We are delighted for Elora and cannot wait to see how her story unfolds.
Orin’s family will travel later this month to bring him home. We know this little boy will have such a bright future and cannot wait to watch his story unfold.
