25 JulPoppy Made Her Wish

Some of you may remember this gorgeous girl Poppy (previously Katelyn when she was in our home).

Well, it is safe to say this girl is loving life and thriving with her forever family. Every picture we see, she has a huge smile on her face and she is usually playing with one of her loving siblings.

Earlier this year, Poppy had a very special surprise. She was visited by the Make A Wish team and in her discovery meeting, Poppy explained exactly what she wished for.

[For those who are unfamiliar with the ‘Make A Wish‘ organisation, their mission is to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illness.]

Fast forward a few months and Poppy had her wish granted and she was off with her family to Florida to meet Disney’s Moana (because Moana has hair like Poppy).

Poppy loved meeting Moana and they spent time together doing some of Poppy’s favourite things including drawing and colouring. Poppy and her family had an incredible time and made precious memories that they will have for a lifetime.

Although we had hoped and wished for a wonderful forever family for her, we never could have imagined this real life fairytale. She is most definitely living life to the full, running carefree on the beach with her siblings, feeling the sand beneath her toes and always has a smile on her face.

Keep living your dreams beautiful girl.
